My thoughts exactly. The PPA and Rob have legitimate concerns that I would like to see addressed. It's a shame that they do not recognize the legitimate concerns of others.

Areas like Quarter Mile and Hidden Lakes need to be shut down, patrolled, and given a chance to recover. But I agree that the majority of the closures that the MAP advocates is just senseless overreach designed to discourage people from accessing their forest.

The cynic in me is worried that the stakeholder meetings will either turn into a battleground between the two sides of the MAP debate, or that the state will take our concerns and promptly toss them in the bin. "Well we did seek input, we just chose to ignore it."
