    MIKE ROWE in the pines!

Forked River Mt.? I don't know, but I wonder whether any kind of picking up trash in the pines would get dirty enough for that series.

Be careful if you head to Barnie.....

Lucky that he didn't bust something up a lot worse. I've spent a lot of time walking jetties, and some of those gaps could swallow an adult, no problem. In some state parks they won't let you out on them unless they've been capped.

    Thursday Along The Plains Branch

Interesting how those old Corduroy roads hold the growth down for so long. I would have expected them to disappear into the muck years ago.

Could we just talk about sustainability? For once?

A Bridge, A Trestle, Two Rails & Two Tales

Well done, George. Great story. I have been at the trestle over 30, but now you have me determined to visit the other as well.

I'm guessing pre-op. Can't afford the actual surgery. Doesn't have the balls. Er... or still does.

    The Pine Borings

Well, it's in my blog :). Different geolocation mechanisms give different results. All use some combination of subnet ARP records that point to the owner of a subnet, and some used more advanced algorithms. Anyway, not sure if we're debating, and if we are, over what. IP is not a reliable...

    Destruction at Mount

It was probably the freshness of this damage that caught my eye.

Yes, you can sometimes get geographical boundaries, and you can always get upstream provider info. So you know it's a Comcast subscriber, or whatever, but you can't reliably pin it down any further without subpoenas to the ISP.

Almost all of us have external device interface IPs that change regularly when our systems renew their DHCP leases; you can look at subnets reliably... but I was kidding about LIP :).

10 inches of snow on the way.....

Still snowing lightly, lots of drifting. About 8-9 inches on the flat.

    Stafford Forge Target Range Clean-up

Maybe treat it like a driving range, and run some sort of vac over it once a month or whatever. I do see a lot of shell casings too. Must be 100 pounds of brass out there.

    Stafford Forge Target Range Clean-up

If the side of the Parkway looked like some of those pictures, there would be a hell of an outcry. Perhaps those are really worst case pictures, but in any event, it's a damn shame. I doubt very many agencies have the manpower to police something that bad, and the sad thing is that if they do...

Coming down like gangbusters up here now. Blowing too.

10 inches of snow on the way.....

Just started up here in the NW. Forecasts are calling for a total of 5-9", which would make it a respectable early March event, but not epic. This year, given that we started the run with a major ice storm way back in October, I'll happily settle for respectable. Unfortunately I work at home, so...
