    I'd bet that what we're looking at is another remnant of the ancient Hudson River, much the same as most of the hills and ridges in the Pines.

    Thanks, Pineywoman. Just to clear a few things up: Mullica Hill and Lower Bank are different places. The latter is on the Mullica River, whereas Mullica Hill is in Gloucester County.
