    Sawmill Locations

Salter says that Schenck's Mill on a branch of Kettle Creek was formerly Ebenezer Applegate's sawmill. The mill was a bit downstream of Coward's Ford (also known as Deer Ford). Any idea where that ford was?

    Raised trail?

All the other roads in the area are cut into the ground, not raised on a berm. I'd rule out a road.

    Another Puzzle

Here's the road: https://boydsmaps.com/pines/#18/39.683389/-74.335629/midatlidar/0/0/ It intersects with another road here: https://boydsmaps.com/pines/#18/39.680941/-74.334154/midatlidar/0/0/ I'm guessing this was related to the cranberry operation.
