    Raised trail?

Dash, I also poked around there yesterday. I could make out the outline of the right turn, but it was barely noticeable. I left without having any new ideas. Thick woods back there.

    Raised trail?

If you look closely at the terrain view, you will see that this feature continues in a straight line uphill to this point: https://boydsmaps.com/#19.00/39.909386/-74.278244/midatlidar/0.00/0.00 There also appears to have been a road on the other side of the creek...

    In Search Of: Y-Buc Bridge

There is a photo in Heart of the Pines of the intact dam (New Pond) with men fishing.

    Raised trail?

Nothing like a good lidar mystery! I like your pipe idea. Maybe water was pumped from the creek and delivered via pipe to the (blueberry?) farm at this point?: https://boydsmaps.com/#18.00/39.911315/-74.278519/midatlidar/0.00/0.00

    Palmyra Cove

Aleahy, Take a look here: https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer You will see the original landscape in 1931 before the dredging began and can see the development throughout the decades.

    Sleeper Creek Sawmill

BTW, Cripps' mill was about here, I believe: https://boydsmaps.com/#17.00/39.643684/-74.661783/midatlidar/0.00/0.00

@Teegate Guy, what do those two arrows point to?

    Sleeper Creek Sawmill

Ah, the Sleepy! That makes sense, as the there is physical evidence that the mill was right atop of the creek, as depicted on this map.

    Sleeper Creek Sawmill

Thank you for this, Jerseyman! What year was this map drawn? The fact that this map places the saw mill here has got me rethinking some things. I had assumed that the saw mill was located on/at this race: https://boydsmaps.com/#19.00/39.647534/-74.659991/midatlidar/0.00/0.00 Perhaps this...

https://boydsmaps.com/#18.48/39.708535/-74.566084/mbx3dspectrum/0.00/0.00 @Boyd are these striations artifacts or are they really there? They don't show in the Mid-Atlantic Lidar

    What are these features?

Guy, do you think the features I am looking at near Hawkin Bridge are remnants of the farm?

    What are these features?

What kind of trees were planted there? I wouldn't classify this one with the features at Tulpehocken and Sweetwater.

    What are these features?

You are no doubt correct about this location. Here are some other examples: https://boydsmaps.com/#18.00/39.632185/-74.688277/midatlidar/0.00/0.00 Take a look at the 1977 aerials and it becomes obvious that these are tree nurseries. I'm not so sure about the locations I linked to in the OP. I...

Two two locations I linked to are the only two that I've found that have this grid pattern.

Any ideas as to what these grid-like patterns are? These features predate the 1931 aerial photos.

    Bodine's Tavern

The mill symbol on Watson's map, assuming it is more or less accurately placed (a big assumption, I know), appears to correspond to the location of Bodine's mill! It is downstream from the confluence of the West and East branches of the wading river and just north of Bodine's Tavern and bridge.
