i would only recomend one with maping capibility i have two garmins, etrex legend and a 60cs color, i use the legend for kayaking and the 60cs for hiking and US roads and recreation software maping, a garmin product not available any more but....if you know somebody who can burn you a copy...

Ben, i am sorry to say there is only one fix for the "new jersey" problem(s) that is to leave the state, it is only to get worse ! unfortunitly some find it hard or impossible to leave for many reasons, but it can be done. for a much peacefull life style and having been in this *** ****...

in paddling the mullica i too have seen it and many others on different waterways in the pines, they seem to go nowhere now, all woods on both sides. they would for the most part be hard to find by land if you did not mark them by GPS when on the water on my gps map some of these gone bridges...
