    There is no bog anywhere near the monument unless they are speaking of Skit Branch north across the rd probably a half mile or so away. Another mystery to track down

    I"ve walked parts of Scotland Run between Malaga Lake and Willow grove lake (Canoed it as well) but this area up here looks interesting.Might try walking parts of it up there after my knee operation.Looks like the bottom is solid from the rd crossing.

    No you can go in by the tracks but it's a further walk.I know a short cut thats by far more interesting and gives you a tour of the parts of camp Hollybrook that garrison doesn't own.Stay south of Fries Mill rd (His driveway) and your on nature Conservancy.I park about a mile north of the tracks

    I park on Port Cumberland rd or up a side rd into Peaslees on the east side of rd.You would shoot down 49 past Cumberland pond to first right then down that rd a couple miles.maybe ten minutes off 55

    Had some hard rains down here recently.Thats always good for surface hunting,I found that point in a four inch deep recent erosion channel.Creek so low the rain hasn't raised the level so crik huntin also good,water gets too high it fouls the water and makes walking hard upstream which is best...

    I don't find near as many as my buddy Bob but he said I have a knack for finding the real beauties.I told him thats because I"m darned near blind as a bat and it's the beauties that are the only ones I can see.
