    There is a seven mile loop trail in Belleplain state forest that goes from lake Nummy to East Creek lake and back up the other side of savages Run.It's blazed white.You appear to have missed that one.Great map by the way.

    I know that on the Hartman maps as well as other old maps there are many areas listed as ponds and running streams that today are dry all year long. I Have found old wells that appear to be thirty feet deep and supposedly once held water but they are all dry now.I don't have the data to back it...

    Death of a Pine Snake

    The snake probably died from infection caused by the repeated incisions to keep replacing the implant so they could track it and they happened to find it on a road.I know of at least one instance of a pine snake dying from infection caused by an implant.

    Dogs on Chew Road

    We have two labs.Sophie smells good when dry but stinks when wet.Shiloh stinks all the time.She smells like a wet dog even when she's dry and even after a bath. I wonder what they think of how Daddy smells.
