No, but we used to host sand drags back in the 1980's. Good luck with the event.

    Abandoned building on 206

Here are some pics and a little information on the steam train that was moved to Route 30. http://www.youngsrigging.com/link3.htm The other engine that was at the junkyard on 206 is now at Wade Salvage on Jackson Road in Atco. It is a Plymouth switcher I believe.

    Dig?!

I brought this up back in December but I do not have any additional information. I would think someone from the Indian Mills Historical Society would know something. http://forums.njpinebarrens.com/showthread.php?t=5865&highlight=digging+Tuckerton

    Dirt bikes!

I would agree with this. I think people are taken by surprise when they see hundreds of dirt bike riders race by in an area they normally would not be. Part of the problem though is the signs that mark the course go up the day before and have to be down the day after. If you noticed on...

    Dirt bikes!

I'm sorry you had such a bad day in the pines but saying they have a selfish self centered attitude is a quite a blanket statement. Enduros have been held for over 70 years in the pines, I'd say they are part of the history. Plus, there are only 2 or 3 each year. Giving up 2 or 3 Sundays each...

    Dirt bikes!

It was the 42nd running of the Curly Fern Enduro. They also just ran the 72nd Sandy Lane Enduro! Enduros have a long history in the pines and I'm glad they are still around and are still being supported.

10 inches of snow on the way.....

No worries, I was late in responding to you. We will just have to catch up another time. Hope you had fun. Love being out in the pines when it snows.

    Muscle

I had to add something to this thread. I love the car pics, especially the old stuff. I know this is a bit different but it's a pic of a car we run at Atco. 582 cubic inches over 900 HP. Ran 8.50's at 164 MPH last year. Goes through the traps at 8100 RPM. All motor, no nitrous or...

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

Boy, that sure looks like it. I passed two older GMC utility bodies today and thought the truck was for sure a 70's to 80's GMC. Nice work.

    Vandalized Trestle

Looks like sabotage to me. Numerous people could be injured now. That really wouldn't slow down a dirt bike or an atv but someone else could easily fall into that space and sustain serious injuries. IF it was done to get back at off-road riders that is a sad way to do it.

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

That looks about right. Wonder how the cab ended up in the woods like that? The forest fire service used Dodge trucks for a long time.

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

Anyone know what kind of truck that is? I was thinking mid 70's Dodge but not sure. The front looks so familiar but I can't put my finger on it. It's driving me crazy. Love to figure out the date of old cars and trucks like that.

    Wildlife web cam.

I have been viewing this web cam for a couple weeks now and wanted to posted a link on here since I thought the people on this forum would enjoy it. I just never did because I did not think it was Pine Barrens related. Well after clicking on the links it looks like the web cam is in New...

Thoughts on ATV use in New Jersey.

Thanks for the replies and no one crapped on my parade. I know this would be an uphill battle and basically impossible to get done but wanted to put it out there none the less. I ride all the time and all over the place but I was thinking if the ATV owners were willing to concede on a few...
