    Paragon Off-Road Park closing.

http://www.topix.net/content/kri/0223734758092035090637627965050873780507 Didn't really want to turn this into an off-road vehicle thread but does anybody think this will have an impact on the Pines? Do you think this will cause more people to make the trek to the Pines to do some...

Haddonfield - after the great flood?

I agree that any glaciers that melt could cause the ocean levels to rise and if all the snow and ice melted off of Antartica the same would happen. I was just thinking of the North Pole area, that ice cap is suspended in water, so if it melts, nothing happens.

Haddonfield - after the great flood?

The ice caps are already in the water, so nothing happens besides new shipping lanes. It's when the glaciers melt that are on land that could cause a problem my adding water to the oceans. Let an ice cube melt in a glass and see if the water rises. I did not see Al Gore's movie but if he...

favorite places to eat and imbibe in the pines

Does the Golden Nugget count as "in the pines?" I guess they are on the edge. But I always liked their wings, they were a little different and also very cheap. Anyone here ever venture to the Pic II on the White Horse Pike?

I have some geniune Pine Barrens sand for sale on ebay. Also check out my authentic bark taken from a real live pine tree. Geez, I never knew the Pine Barrens could be so profitable! I'm glad this person pulled the item from auction.

Are they 22 inchers? Do they spin? Haha, j/k. I'm kind of suprised too.

    Brooksbrae Brick Factory

Looks like a late 30's Ford pickup, probably 1937-40. You don't even need a VIN to find out the year of the vehicle, just locate a part number. Ford part numbers are fairly easy do decipher. First letter designates the decade, I know for instance the letter "C" stands for the 60's, "D" for...

    Ruins on Home Bog

Tough to tell since Ford used the Fox chassis from 1978 until 2004, though it was modified at different times. From the looks of the rear valance it could be a Mustang. Definitely a 4 or 6 banger with the single exhaust pipe. Hard to imagine but if you looked underneath a 2004 Mustang and...

South Jersey: What are its boundaries?

When I worked in Woodbury the people I worked with said Shamong was central Jersey not South Jersey like I said. Who knows? I say Barneget Light sounds good. I know one thing, I always say I'm from South Jersey, never New Jersey.

    John Abrams

I think I know who you are looking for. After reading through the website it looks like the John Abrams you are looking for was the one on Jeopardy. If that is correct I do know him because he is a cousin of mine, though distant. I believe his father was John as well, I forget because I have...

    John Abrams

My mother's maiden name was Abrams, so that makes me related to almost everyone in the Indian Mills area (haha). I believe there is more than one John Abrams, I'll ask around.

    Abandoned racetracks.

Looks like there were a couple tracks in or around Mt. Holly. The one I was speaking of is close to Arney's Mount, not the fairgrounds. When I was looking at that area with Google Earth I too notice how many horsetracks there were. Pretty cool. I heard New Jersey has more race horses than...
