    Just 0 days...

We have a 2017 Forest River Mini Lite 2507s. A great layout for us. Not too long at 25 feet but a really wide slide. Even the Great Dane looks small in it. It has a Murphy Bed and when folded up we have a couch and lots of floor space.

I'm looking for specific type of campsite.

Lower Forge, lots of trails, pit toilets, sites on a BIG hill overlooking the Batsto river, wilderness area (no traffic), no well so bring your own water (supplies). About .4 mile hike in. Consider doing a supply drop ahead of time if it seems too much...

    Solar Eclipse 2017

Strange how the clouds got thicker as the eclipse progressed then the sky cleared after. I was wondering if the eclipse drove the weather.

Possible Government Shut-down may affect your weekend..

Saw horse trailers at Carranza Memorial this morning, cones moved aside. Drove by after our criminal walk and the cones were replaced, trailers still there and a Park Police SUV sitting in the lot. Batona Camp was empty. It's a real sorry state of affairs when decent people who just want to...

Possible Government Shut-down may affect your weekend..

These signs were posted at the entrance to the Carranza Memorial parking lot and Batona camp. There were cones at the entrance to the lot , at one entrance someone neatly stacked them out of the way. Six horse trailers and several cars in the lot. Several campers in Batona Camp enjoying the...

Hey Mister, what's wrong with your dog?

In bound to Batona Camp. My video is beautiful, YouTube messes it up. He is probably laying a scent, still funny looking.

Climate change indicators in the Pine Barrens

According to a post by Spung-Man, the seas may be rising but the land we are on is also sinking. https://forums.njpinebarrens.com/threads/washington-d-c-sinking-fast-adding-to-threat-of-sea-level-rise.10691/

    Pine Barren Flora

I didn't know box turtles could swim/float. The only one in water I ever saw was at the bottom of my pool like a rock. I saved it but it rested for awhile.
