Ok, if this one is too hard I’ll give some clues later but, this tree is just off a highly traveled road and I think someone will get it. I’ve driven past it hundreds, if not thousands of times, and more times then not it catches my eye.

He has no plan on discussing different views. He is on a smear campaign trying to discredit the topos. The ironic thing is he blocks anyone with different opinions then his own calling them trolls. Yet that’s all he does here is troll.

Sounds like that the current map is obsolete as well by your description.

I’m not sure of your point. The 1966 map is a suggested route map which is fine. It involves no closures of roads that existed on the topos of the time. The 2024 version does.

I thought of that as well. Exactly why it’s on my list to explore I have a lot of questions. I’m thinking that the road would be raised at least a little if they were using it for fill. Maybe the the go around was to get by while they loaded wagons.

When you went by did you actually go through it? Also I figured it was low for that type of rock, that’s why I was thinking possibly clay. What do you think was mined from there? Maybe we can meet up and check it out. The last two weekends we got out quite a bit.

I see it as not bargaining in good faith. Offering us something that we can’t even use. As far as I know the DEP has no intention on fixing up that bridge. I’d be willing to bet the map proponents would push for it to stay closed as well and keep it solely for hiking trails.

I think that the new road is Push line Road. Since it’s not a true road but was a Fireline. Now they want to call it a road and act like they gave us something even though I’ve been driving it nearly my entire life.
