    Oswego River

Mike, I had a similar misfortune several years back. It was mid-January and I got my kayak wedged against a fallen tree. I thought I could fight the current, but that simply cannot be done; I went right in. If possible, you have to get out of your boat and stand on the tree and then pull...

    Beer (again)

I've been meaning to get out to one of those PA beer fests. They do beer right in that state, IMHO.

    Beer (again)

Scott, beware. I've blacked out from beer but once in my life, and it happened to be the day I went to the Celebration of the Suds in A.C.

    Beer (again)

I think Jack Handy said it best: "Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be...

    Beer (again)

Most of our Founding Fathers, if not brewers themselves, had quite a taste for beer. Yards Brewing out of Philly, while not as good all around as they once were, brews a a series of beers after the recipes of some of our most beloved forefathers: Washington's Porter, Jefferson's Tavern Ale...

    Beer (again)

Bob, I suggest you try a micro lager. Otter Creek Vermont Lager might suit you well, so give it a try if you see it. Brooklyn Lager might sit well with you also. Then again, both of these might have too much of a bite for you. They are crisp and moderate beers, though!
