    Snow

I took my dogs for a walk in the woods today. One of them, my beloved Bearded Collie, got spooked by something (he's easily unnerved by certain sounds) and jolted into the thickets. He was nowhere to be found. I searched for him until sun down. I thought I'd lose him to the cold. Thanks God...

    canoe trip

I dig. I'd think that arranging for sea kayaks would present too many logistical problems, but perhaps Ron can make it happen.

    canoe trip

I've paddled from Atsion to Lower Bank. I took my time and camped two nights. The going is difficult below Crowley's due to wind primarily. srburnel, I would not recommend taking your troops anywhere below Crowley's. Must the trip be 50 miles, or are you looking to spend a certain amount...

So what are you doing for Valentines Day?

My old man once had a Dock Street T-Shirt. The back of it read, "To life, liberty and the pursuit of hoppiness." :guinness: Monk's is one of my all time favorites. The Belgians know how to do thing. Rabbit, lamb and fine ales. Mmmm.

    I hit a beaver

Speaking of rabbits, my dog Moose just brought one in the house. He's been trying to catch one for years. I guess the diet is working.

    Barn

A fine piece of land indeed. Lots of spungs in that area. Did the pond look man-made to you? That's a handsome chocolate lab you've got there.

Trip Report: May 1736—John Bartram in the Cedar Swamps

Good post, relayer. Note to all: We have to remember that there are two Egg Harbour rivers. The one is view is the Great Egg Harbour, not the Little Egg Harbor (Mullica).

    I hit a beaver

They were the best-tasting turn signals I've ever had. I pity the fool who leds good roadkill go to waste. :)
