Welcome, Ed. I was reading an article in the latest edition of National Geographic about African poachers. There was a gruesome picture of a de-tusked elephant. Enough to make a man weep, I'd say.

Guy, very few sawmills are listed on this map, so maybe it only includes mills that we operating at the time. Read's mill on the Sleepy would have been a ghost by 1812. Can you post the 1833 map?
