Guy, you are correct in that there is debate over where the site of the grave is, and this is due to the confusion of the scant historic references thereof. The site on Sweetwater/Weekstown Rd., however, is known to be a prank played by locals in 1965. The "grave" has since gotten a new stone...

That gravestone in Pleasant mills is at High bank. It is, of course, not the site of Mulliner's grave.

Jeff, I definitely agree that Island Beach is part of the pine barrens. Its lacking certain things like cedar swamps, but the pines and sugar sand are prevalent, amongst other things. Very neat place, isn't it? Thanks for the report.
