When's a good time to avoid snakes

I have seen exactly one live rattler in the barren also Old Crazy and a few more in other states.I think the hognose is a better rattler mimic then the pine snake.Till I see the head they have occasionally made me think initially rattler! though upon close inspection the pattern is not the same...

Wolfspider found the W.P. 1700 stone!

actually I lied, all the stones were missing.i found the other two because I plotted them and basically knew where they were.one was along side the road anyway and the other was 30 ft back in the bush but the surveyors left me a present to help me out.

Wolfspider found the W.P. 1700 stone!

okay I have to go back then.don't know why they never made it into the gps.I think I put my file in of the two stones you forgot and forgot to put your file in of the four stones you plotted though I had the rest of your file in there so that doesn't make sense. I think there is a stonergeist in...

    Webb's Mill and Carusoeville

I have a crik within a mile of my house aptly named "Gravelly Run" The sand and gravel bed is entirely natural and it is a joy to walk up in the summer barefooted. It has the occasional mid thigh deep hole but mostly is calf to knee deep.

    Webb's Mill and Carusoeville

Yes the beavers have made a lot of nice bogs, ponds and medders, the gripe with Webbs Mills is it's uniqueness. Before the beavers it was a one of a kind area. With gravel beds flown over by clear shallow water and many rare plants. The beavers are turning into just another beaver pond.I'm sure they...

    Webb's Mill and Carusoeville

Per PBX Bob has told me that the branch you were at originally is called "Goodwater Branch" and immdiately dowstream from the road runs into Webbs Mill Branch.I personally think the gravel in the stream bed is natural, many streams in that area have white sand an gravel beds with very little...

I think it boils down to the fact people that hunt are people too. Some right down respectable ones and some morons in the mix too.Unfortunately stereotypes never pan out like you expect em to.I have never liked killing things myself but I tell you what. You kill it,bring it to me and I'll skin it...

I personally used to work with a man who belonged to a large local gun club.He would tell stories of the guys going into the woods all drunked up,he obviously thought this was okay and a fun thing to do.Not saying most hunters are like this but apparently in this club it was common.Another...
