    Coyotes today

I have to agree with you on this one Boyd.In thick brush a stick seems to just get in my way.I like to have both hands available for holding on to things and fending brush away from my face.I do appreciate a good stick in bogs and creek crossings but can usually find one nearby and then toss it...

The way out was quite uneventful. When we got out there we noticed the tide was very high with the water coming right up to the trash line and four ft breakers. We were going to push east down beach past the big stone steps which were all but under water at this point but the water was already...

    Visiting a Bog

I guess the difference would be the amount of vegetation in it?many cranberry bogs have creeks running through them but they are bogs. When they are flooded are the ponds? The edges of the pond in some places are mats of vegetation, quite bog like.I wasn't even aware the bog Guy and Jess were in...

    Visiting a Bog

Then perhaps that is not the bog I thought it was. Would this be a bog I visited earlier this year and posted about it? It sure looks like the one.It would have an active stream running through it.

    Visiting a Bog

I KNOW WHERE YOU WERE! Guy snakes habitually sling musk as a defense. If you think that green snakes musk smelt bad you should get skunked by a northern water snake. They are right down putrid but they would have bit her at the same time.Water snakes have very nasty attitudes as well.

    Bees. LOTS of bees.

I got stung once driving down 563 past hog wallow because some d&mb@$$ dropped a hive right next to the side of the road and they were riled. As I approached doing 50 I seen a cloud of irate bees hovering over my lane.Too late to stop and slowing would have been a mistake. One swept in a got me on...

That grey phase is what every coyote I have seen has been till this black one this past week.Didn't know that was from wolf DNA but i do know our yotes are bigger then the western ones and supposedly came south from Canada where wolves still roam so perhaps the wolf story be true?

'Serpent-Handling' West Virginia Pastor Dies From Snake Bite

Religion is mans attempt to work his way into favor with God/gods.I don't believe that can be done. Also lets not bust on religion alone,I think the guy that got bit at Oswego Lake was drunk.Lets take a few swings at good ole Alcohol! Then again for some Beer is their religion.
