I spent the day on the the Banegat Bay right behind IBSP. On three occasions a SP circled and went up and down the park. At one time I we heard sirens from the beach on the other side. They are spending a lot on resources keeping people out this weekend.

This whole thing is a positioning move for the next gubernatorial election. Why would Sweeney side with Prieto? He's likely going to be in the running. Let all the blame fall on Christie and Prieto. That would be the prudent move. Here we are in July talking politics like it's Halloween.

He made it clear he would not sign a temporary budget. Why would one be submitted. There's plenty of blame for both sides. This is simply a political move that didn't need to be this bad.

I do. There was nothing to vote on. But ruining thousands of people's holiday plans to prove a point is solely his decision. He could have easily approved a temporary budget for the weekend just like Delaware did.

Yes. They are draft sites for the fire depts. They are usually give a number to identify the exact location. Each engine likely has a binder listing each one so when the officer in charge gives a number they can quickly locate it. The signs are there to help neighboring companies who are...
