Basically anytime the tower is staffed the tower lookout usually welcomes any visitors. Just call ahead it gets really hot up there and I've heard stories of guys stripping down to their underwear to stay cool:eek:

It's been that way for decades. People were shooting shot guns up through the floor a breaking into it during the '90's. It got to the point it was usually out of service. The TV's are a relatively new thing along with the graffiti.

I'm surprised they haven't installed one years ago.

Going back to the original name of this thread. I looks unlikely that we are going to get much relief in the form of rain. Unless you have interests along the shore it seems it will be uneventful to most of us.
