    Spotlight Article on Off-Roading

The real study is posted on the home page of the Pinelands Commission. Apparently they are not afraid and aren't withholding information http://www.nj.gov/pinelands/home/presentations/10%2014%202016%20Wharton%20Disturbed%20Sites%20slides.pdf

    Spotlight Article on Off-Roading

I don't either but there has been not been a PLC study done outside of Wharton yet. The problem is in the article itself. The image provided is misleading to title of the article which is Pinelands Commission Releases Damage Report for Wharton State Forest.

    Spotlight Article on Off-Roading

My point exactly. I'm not saying there's not damage there but you are far from Wharton where the actual study happened.

    Spotlight Article on Off-Roading

Umm...I might be wrong but the article is about Wharton. The map that is included looks more like the entire southern half of the state. Might be misleading a bit....again:rolleyes:

    Public Question # 2.

They are just trying to appease the public with this gas tax. Nobody is happy with the increase but if they promise it goes where they said it was for most people will just say ok. Boyd is abosolutely right. This increase is to off set a $4 million deficit. If all the funds stay the same then it...

    Mountain Lion Sightings in Winslow

http://6abc.com/news/police-investigate-reports-of-large-cats-in-camden-co/1558793/ The game camera does look like a house cat. The one in the video looks larger though. If it's really from around here.

    Weekend Finds

That's interesting. Locust is used out west for fence posts because of its resistance to rot. I had a friend remove a couple trees from his yard and he gave me some of the wood. I was amazed how long it lasted. I saved a piece or two to use for a wood working project. I just haven't figured...

    Hunters Moon this weekend

Anywhere in the plains would be ideal. The shorter the trees the better. Around me I search out recent fires that opened up the canopy. Either way a moon lit excursion in the pines is my heaven.

    Dumping

They now have an app for that, but I believe it's for state land. http://www.stopdumping.nj.gov/ If it's on municipal the local police should be investigating.

    Bird ID

I didn't see it. My wife sent me the picture asking what it was. To my dismay I told her it looks like a quail. It walked up to her from behind to about a foot away. Being more of a city girl I'm surprised that she actually bent over and picked it up over the curb since it couldn't make the...

    Bird ID

I'm not close to any of those WMAs that were listed. I thought there was a possibility of it coming from the state but I'm only close to Wharton. (Near the raceway in Atco) I don't think they stock near here. I don't suspect it would survive long around here. I've seen fox and heard coyotes and...
