Because State Parks are far more accessible to regular people. Less people will go out to WMAs because most people don't know what they are, or where to park, or what to do once they're in there. Nobody is in a cage. And I really wonder how many people would be so against the stay at home...

You don't remember Spanish Flu unless you were alive in 1917. All of those other diseases are/were better understood and better contained. We didn't run out of PPE or not have enough respirators for the other diseases. But we have the problem now. Clearly this is worse.

Nobody is saying that you have to stay inside 24-7. I see lots of people walking in my neighborhood. They're either couples or individuals and they don't clump up together. I do yard work, too. But if you have a bunch of people that all want to go to the same state park there's a higher than...

Cool, so there's a good chance that you're infected and you're choosing to go out and possibly run into someone else and get them sick. That's not selfish at all.

Prolonged contact with soap will destroy the virus since it breaks down the fatty bonds that keeps it together. So laundry detergent ought to do the same thing. Of course the thing is, if someone sneezes on your sweatshirt, how are you going to take it off without it rubbing up against your...

Try as you might, there's no guarantee that you won't cross paths out there with someone who can pass Covid-19 on to you. Judging by the number of cars parked at Batsto I'd say it's a strong possibility that you'll run into people. Not to mention that if something happens the SPP still needs to...

It's okay. I skimmed through and saw the word "Lakewood" and was like "okay this is where the thread takes a turn" but it didn't. Everyone just be nice and Bob, please stay home. I have had a few friends catch this and it is not fun and quite painful.
