    Square concrete boxes

Not probable without drainage. Another thing is they are mounted at the same angle on the slab. I'm posting the picture of the one I took at Whitesbogin the member gallery because it's too big.

    Square concrete boxes

I saw one of Ben's pictures: I have seen one of these boxes at Whitesbog and I have a couple behind an abandoned blueberry farm behind me. They are all made of poured concrete and all sit on concrete slabs. The edges appear to be beveled at the corners. Does anyone know what these are? Tom

Welcome to the site, box986. Here is the link to the policy directive from 2002 which took me from law- abiding enthusiast and transformed me to a life of crime: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/commissioner/policy/orvpolicy.htm Off roaders pay for the right to travel off road on state land. There...

    Toms River Railroad

Yes, Whiting is a part of Manchester Township. And they still patrol that area at each of the entrances. You don't want to get caught out there nowadays. It used to be a great place to bring your kids to swim and barbecue in the summer. Used to get kinda crowed, although there is miles of...

Sorry Ben, I was referring to the general vicinity of Simm place. There was a ruins of an old farmstead on Jenkins Rd. and a swimming hole dug out of a cedar swamp where there was an abandoned trailer. Jim, as far as the bombing range is concerned there is a public observation area off 539. I...

1st off the police regularly patrol that area. 2nd off I love the names the kids give to it, it was originaly called "shifting sands" on old topo maps and the company thah mined ilmunite from there was ASARCO. When it was in operation it employed many people. There were always creeks running...

Nimby Not in my back yard. When I used to drive a concrete truck we poured alot of concrete in the ginormous senior citizen developments in ocean county. Very early on as the roads were cut in the foundations were poured and people moved into the first houses. One day as I am on my way in to...

Things that shouldn't be done in the Pines.

Bulk Waste. The worst offenders are the ones that dump truckloads of shingles, concrete, etc. I can't believe anyone would risk all the penalties, but I see more stuff out there all the time.

All off-roaders are asking for is the same thing car owners want. We pay a tax on fuel and registration fees so we can have places to operate them. Imagine the government banning operation of vehicles on public roads, they do pollute. NJ DEP...
