Most of what I see flash used for are advertisements. Some of the news sites have their videos encoded in flash, but I'd rather just read the article anyway. I also have never said "damn, I wish I had flash on my phone."

I have to admit, when I first saw the thread I thought it'd be about the amazing TV show, Lost.

No. Just about the only thing (that I have seen so far) that gets mention is Read petitioning the legislature to build the dam at Batsto.

Well, I figured that if they're off in a land of their own then folks who don't care to see them then don't have to. The slag heap is reserved for especially atrocious threads.

Since it seems like it's pretty popular for people to talk about, is there interest in a general purpose politics forum here? I'd like to keep the site as Pine Barrens focused as I can, so rounding up all of the political threads into one place would be a good way of keeping the rest of the site...

Sorry I haven't posted part 3 yet. It's about 10% written, but I have some more research materials (thanks, Jerseyman) to go through still and it's shaping up to be a pretty busy week.

I've often considered moving across the river to PA. Bucks County is so nice, but from what I've been seeing, not much cheaper to buy a house than in Monmouth/Ocean counties.

Scott, Do you feel the same way about blended wine?

If anybody can provide me an example of that, I'll think about it. :) But in all honesty, with the exception of a few skirmishes here and there, the British attempt to take Batsto, and the privateers, the Pine Barrens were fairly quiet.
