    Old Train Station ? ? ?

I would bet money on that being a train station. Those are some impressive photos!

Yup, I've seen where it creates a whole new "class" of people. "Why are you even posting, you're not a sponsor." "You let this guy get away with murder because he gives you money." Not to mention then that when a website takes in money there's always the question of "where is that money...

    I'm on 10.6.1 and I can't reproduce that behavior.

A tough night in the pines

Yes it is! It won a blue ribbon! Actually, I am a bit of a beer snob but I have no problem stepping down to a Miller High Life ($1 drafts at the Ivy in Princeton!) or a PBR if I'm not looking to get too out of control or spend too much money. There's currently a few bottles of Smuttynose...

Heh, I hate the idea of ads on the website, too.

I really hate the idea of taking money to run the site.

    Re-Exploring the Forked River Mountains

If you have a vehicle that you don't really care about getting scratched up, you can drive right up to the club. As it is, I park at the intersection of Duchmans Rd. and walk the mile or so to the ruins. As for the other place you mention, I think they're both gun clubs. I visited there a few...

Naw, Pabst is a step up -- that's for the folks in Chatsworth.

They actually released screenshots of the new product: http://www.vbulletin.com/index.php?do=screenshots I have to say, it looks really good. I think I'll end up sticking with vB. Will be nice to have the CMS part of the site and the forums all running the same software. If there's an image...

    BobPBX's signature

Considering that those languages didn't use the Latin alphabet like we do now, any spelling in that alphabet is going to have to be phonetic. I don't think there's a "right" or "wrong" way to spell those words.

Yeah, that's phpBB. We used to use that here, before I switched to vB. Version 2 of their software had security like swiss cheese, and was not really that powerful. I haven't checked out version 3 yet, but it's a strong contender for what we'd move to if we move. Shouldn't affect you like...

Jelsoft, the company that makes the software that runs the forums, just sent me an email: What they haven't done is put up a demo of the software, or even any screenshots. In a post on their forums they said that they'll probably have a demo up after the 30th. If you don't go for the $130...

A tough night in the pines

I dunno. The back window is smashed out, the windshield looks like a passenger's head impacted it as well. I bet they were flying down the road, hit a pothole the front end of the truck slammed down, blew out the tire, knocked off the brush guard, and the passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt...

New Pine Barrens - Places to explore?

Consider my mind blown. That looks like it'd be a fun episode to watch, despite the mountains.

    Re-Exploring the Forked River Mountains

Yeah, I imagined that *something* big must have happened there to cause those plains to form. There's only a few scattered pines, and just wavy grass there now. Totally does not feel like the Pine Barrens at all. I bet the deer love it.
