    Gallery Software Updated

All: The software that runs the gallery has been updated to the latest version. A big change is the new flash based uploader. It's pretty self explanatory. If you don't have flash installed on your computer it should fall back to the standard uploader. Let me know if you guys see any...

    Atsion Mansion report

There's a lot of bog iron stuff in the mansion, but I have a feeling that it came from Batsto and not Atsion.

    The Legend Of Ong's Hat

I'd pay $200 for the Knox painting and poetry book. I had no idea any of Knox's painting survived.

I don't think it's worth buying more than 4GB of RAM now. RAM is getting cheaper, so you're better off upgrading in a few years when it will be cheaper. 4GB is more than enough for all but the most demanding applications on a computer. For browsing maps, surfing the internet, listening to...

In one way or another, probably. There's no real compelling reason for me to upgrade the MacBook Pro I have now, although a faster hard drive would probably help me out.

    Mac / IMAC

I switched from PC to Mac last year. I find the only program that I really ever need to use Windows for is USAPhotoMaps. And even then, NJPB Live Maps has more or less supplanted my need for that. I have 4GB of RAM in my MacBook Pro. Cost less than $100 to get that RAM. Memory is cheap.

    Red Bank, NJ

Red Bank is the other name for Fort Mercer, which is located in what now is National Park, NJ. During the Revolutionary War there was a battle (the Battle of Red Bank) fought there.

    No More ORV/ATV Threads

Calling a moratorium on threads regarding ORV parks, ATV's, etc. I've gotten way too many really whiney PM's from people about the last thread. I don't want to deal with that anymore. If you want to talk about ORV's and ATV's in the pines, how X person is really unfair, how the PPA sucks, how...

    Bamber Hunting Lodge

Correct. Beck, Jersey Genesis, Page 178: "Once we found the grave of Zebulon Collins at Ten Mile Hollow and wondered if he had been the Zeb of Zeb's Bridge, over beyond Keswick." Zeb Collins was probably the founder of [what is now known as] Eureka Gun Club. Most likely he was the...

I think there's going to be an official NJPB Atsion trip soon anyway. So hang tight if you want to go with folks from the site.

I'm going to write a history of all of the pine trees in the Pine Barrens. I know someone who is going to help me conduct the interviews. Have to bus him in, though.
