The only steel bridge I know of near Batsto is Quaker Bridge. I think the washed out bridge you saw may have been Constable Bridge.

There's one area that we'll pass that has a lot of broken glass on the ground and whatnot. Also there's some ruins that you could get hurt on if you're not careful. Just keep a eye on the kids and things will be fine.

Why wouldn't it send you straight down the Parkway? The only real "rough" towns in NJ are Newark and Camden, and *maybe* Asbury Park.
