    ManuMutt!

Boyd, I feel the same way as you but today, I might have changed my mind. I saw blue merle Australian Sheperd that got my attention. Right at this moment, I am going back and forth, trying to decide what to do. I have a list of breeders on my bulletin board staring at me. I will add, the...

    Biggest Cedar.

Thanks for the reminder of the older post, Teegate. I was chatting with a state arborist and I was told of several old giants. It was my understanding that certain champion species are rare because the trees were harvested, such as cedar and oak. I know it is off topic but the fellow also told...

    Biggest Cedar.

Nixon Swamp=Nixon Branch. I found a picture of the large cedar and in the description, a hint of its location. Maybe? It is the first picture in the link... http://www.stockton.edu/~wcedars/treeplnt.html

    Biggest Cedar.

Another rumor that I heard was that the largest Atlantic white cedar was located along the Nixon Branch, Cumberland County and close to the bay. Three hundred years old and almost ten feet around at chest height.

    New Ford Bronco

If OJ Simpson had been driving a early Bronco, his broadcasted chase would have been that much better. (A Parnelli Jones Baja clone at that!):D

    New Ford Bronco

Retro, retro, retro. I don't know why we Americans have lost our creativity. Everything is a remake of something older. Come up with a new design that is timeless, please! Movies and vehicles included.

    All is safe in Mexico

Ciudad Juárez is the most violent city in the world that is not a war zone. It is insane. An average of eight murders a day.

    Jeeps

Any icing problems with the propane lines and tank feeding the grill in the cold? Winter camping brings along a few challenges, if you know what I mean.

    Jeeps

Mucksavage, that is a great photo too. The deer slayer bumper, white wall tires and pirated hood ornaments are terrific. I see a 50s Buick "gunsite" ornament between two Mack Truck Bulldogs. I can't see enough detail to identify the badge hanging from the top of the grill. Good stuff in these...

    Jeeps

The jeep on the right is a late 40s Willys Cj-2a. If you look closely you can just make out the two piece windshield and the name Willys on the windshield frame. Flatfenders are the the baddest! I think that is an ax leaning against the green jeep by the back tire. Maybe this is a picture from a...

The Leeds Devil causes a stir near Trenton

An interesting newspaper article that was posted on a local historian's blog. It seems, the Leeds Devil's journeys brought him close to Trenton and caused a quite a stir with the locals. (courtesy Tom Glover)...

I laughed so hard when I read that response. I laughed even harder thinking what if it was Boyd in the jeep driving!

    Davenport Road

It might be because Audubon Conservation signs are on a few of the trees. The two large signs that stated what the project was for were light grey in color and titled Hovnanian Preserve with a description below.

Chiappine and Tassone in the Pine Barrens

Patty the house I live in now at one time had a similar coal/wood fired furnace in the basement. One basement window has the lip left on it for the chute for the coal trucks. Both floors have iron grates in them so the heat can reach each floor. From what you have said, it must have been cold...

    Davenport Road

There are two signs there that state it is a project for fire reduction and forest regeneration. There are other areas like this in the vicinity. If you make a right off of Davenport Road onto Route 530 heading towards Whiting, there is more cleared land about a hundred meters up the road on...

    Davenport Road

It isn't cut like Stevenson Road. The land isn't clear cut or grubbed. There are trees and bushes still standing. I saw students tagging plants there. The best way to describe it is that it has been opened up. Most of the cut trees have been removed but there were still smaller piles of mixed...

    First Snow

Overnight there was very little snow. There is maybe an inch and a half on the grass and cars and that is what accumulated early in the evening yesterday. Right now in Hamilton, there is black ice in spots on the roads and I saw a few fender benders on my way to the deli. I was hoping to get...
