I've always wondered about the long narrow ruin myself. I would have liked to have said that it was a sawmill but I have no evidence of that at all. It doesn't seem practical to have been used as a house.

The mound at Van Note Camp is most likely a giant mound of sawdust. Your last picture is of what I call the "Buckingham Gun Club" although I am sure it was not named that. That's one of my favorite areas.
