    Short Interesting Morning

What was the location of the club at Sandy Ridge? Sandy Ridge has always been somewhat nebulous, unless you consider it to be an area, not a specific place. Do you know when the current club was built?

    Parker Preserve, Bald Eagle reservoir

We went back here today for a hike and picnic. We picnicked on the observation tower by the Bald Eagle Reservoir. There is a picnic table and spotting scope on top. Lots of people out today. Turtles and birds. I helped one quarter size red belly across the road to the bog for which he was...

Wow Guy, you wrote your report before I even went out. I was tilling the garden then we went to Parker Southgate for a hike, picnic. I was waiting for traffic at the bottom of my driveway when 3 pickups, one with a really big trailer passed by. They were all loaded with fire wood, unsplit big...

    Heartbleed SSL Attack. Important!

Guy, it sounds unmanageable. I have 7 pages of usernames and passwords. Every time I buy something, they want to marry me. I hate it, but without it I can't function. What does "fixed" mean? Can I someway stop everything and start over?

Thanks Ben. I didn't know what to make of it. Is a password manager really safe? It seems everything gets hacked.

NJ Forest Fire Impacts 30 Acres

I took a ride down Mines Spung Road this morning and did not see evidence of the fire until I got to Sandy Ridge Quaker Bridge Road. The fire was apparently contained to the south of that road, I did not go all the way to Tuckerton. From Devious road to Quaker Bridge it was burned to the south...

His finger is on Jemima Mount. There goes my geocache. That's a rough area to get around with all the deep puddles and ruts.

Yes it is. We crossed it yesterday, fine shape for pedestrians. A bit crooked and not very straight any more. Some rot, watch your step.

    Where is this?

Yes, look how it is built differently on the left than the right. It looks very old and maybe repaired at some time. I don't recall it going anywhere interesting in recent times. Why all the work? Nobody builds a structure like that to go nowhere. Can it be really that old?
