    Maybe they were coon hunters, they go out at night and it is wonderful to hear their music echo through the woods. Also fox hunters during the day.

    I found 8 of these this morning by a shallow hole in the sand. This is a high and very dry area nowhere near water, except an occasional puddle in season. They were leathery and most had small openings.
