    Good stuff

I thought it too. Getting the fish on the beach probably out getting it all on video. I have to admit. That 6 year old handled that fish better then most adults we had on the boat.

    Good stuff

That'awsome :) My family used to own a charter boat in Cape May. I enjoyed helping and watching other people (especially kids) catch something as much as catching it myself.

    Land next to Atco Dragway

As far as I have heard. There are supposed to be Bluderries planted there. There has been much cleared behind the track as well. I have also heard that the track is hold NHRA National events. To hold national there are guidelines that the track must meet. Like adequate parking, restrooms and...

    Lock's Bridge

I figured so. Judging by the nails in them. There was also a board right at the "spring" that was laying flat and sticking out of the ground that looked like it was pushed over long ago when the bridge was built. Here you can see it a bit sticking out of the ground just above the water.

    Lock's Bridge

We spent some time at Locks today exploring. At the bridge there does seem to be some wood that may be older then the bridge. We also explored downstream a bit. All the rest of the stones seemed more natural forming then the one I picked up. I did find wood throughout the area but most of it...

    Lebanon State Forest Project

I was on a relitvely small fire (on private land) and had to follow the plow with an axe when it was opening up an old road for a line. The vines went to the top of the trees and was pulling them in from both sides. For about 10 years after every time I drove past the area that burnt looked...

    Where is this?

I went back and checked most of the previous posts. I don't think this one asked yet. And one looking the other direction with my copilot. Note the RR spike that he found that he wouldn't put down.

    Where is this?

I explored a bit today. Since I noticed some rails worn much more the others. I checked the dates on them all. They all seemed to be of the same age relitvely. 1913 and 1917. They must have just worn differently.

    Crop circles?

    I can't believe I didn't think of wind;)

    Crop circles?

Makes sense. I was thinking of that stone too since I knew this was naturally made too:D

    Crop circles?

Ok, I'm at a loss on this one. As I was walking by I thought it looked like someone set down a 5 gallon bucket. I turned around and the only prints were my own. Why would this be spinning. I'm thinking its from underground but I didn't see much evidence of that either.

    An expensive tow! (Not NJ)

I bet I could have hired someone here to go up and do it for half of that:D

    Motorized Access

You are correct there are more people that share his far left position. There are many that fall on the far right as well. Not everyone can be pleased. The MAP in its original draft did not account for the majority of the people that fall in the middle.

    Lock's Bridge

Ok last picture of this stone. I promise:D This is the top side that to me looks like it's very worn from either wind or water. I still like the Historic Stucco theory:)

    Lock's Bridge

Thanks Spung Man This explains a lot to me. I would definitely say it looks more like a bottom sole-cast. It also looks like the opposite side is eroded pretty well. I didn't take a picture of that side yet. But in the cross section it almost looks like an airplane wing. Like moving water was...

    Lock's Bridge

I was wondering the possibility of that as well. Or is it just that was simply the location of the mill.

    Lock's Bridge

I agree. I can't say that this can't be formed naturally but to me it just seems unlikely. In an area that stone is a rare commodity I find it hard to believe that this wasn't used to build up a foundation. Instead it was dumped to help build up a dam. Between this and the lines in it just seems...
