I really think we should start calling the period from mid-April to early June the "wet season", or perhaps "moody monsoon time". This has really been a fundamental shift in our local weather pattern in my experience. This seems to have started about 8-10 years ago (only going on memory).

Going on memory (and using the opening in the plastic thing), it had to be about 5/8-3/4 inch long. I was surprised at it's size. I always thought they were a lot smaller.

Here’s trouble. Found in my garage. And I carried this plastic thing and washed it out before I saw it.

I think I may have posted that bug with an ID a couple years ago. Maybe.

I do agree. I think the worst of the pine is over. By the way, pine pollen is heavier than most, causing it to not stay adrift as long.
