    Where is this?

Here is a clue I should have told you already. The name has been whitened out by me. It is on the chimney.

    Consuming pine pollen

You know, it's kind of odd. It's like the pines control the weather for this one week. This range of days (5/11 through 5/16) always has at least two warm and windy days. And, have you ever noticed, that a rain will only stop the pollen for about 8 hours? Almost as soon as the sun comes out it's...

Exploring Along The Wesickaman Creek Near Atsion

Yes, it was just a guess with the gum. I had a question mark after gum (?) when I drafted that post. I took it out, didn't think anyone would care or notice if I got it wrong, and it did not add to my attempt at humor.

    Topo High Points

I was up here at this 180 foot height today. Very cool, a little clearing on top, but not really used by vehicles. What really annoys me; that gravel pit was only 4 or 5 feet lower than Apple Pie hill until the morons mined the top off.

    Consuming pine pollen

Insanity last night here in Bamber. The wind was blowing strong at 10:30 PM and the pollen was just rolling down the street in yellow clouds. Here is an un-retouched photo I took.

    Raptor

Today at the Parker Preserve. This avian species allowed me to get real close. I'm guessing a juvenile eagle? I'm not much of a birder.

    Forest Fire at Atsion

I would guess that they set a backfire at the church to protect it.

    Pine Snake

Came across a large one this afternoon down by Tuckerton. Had to be close to 6 feet long. Got a good little video of him hissing at me, but can't post it. He also buzzed his tail. It did throw me off a second!

I wonder what it's like to be in the center of this wind hole in South Dakota tonite. http://hint.fm/wind/

Exploring Along The Wesickaman Creek Near Atsion

I have never seen a gum tree and a cedar tree so very much in love, and apparently have been so for a very long time. In fact, I'd say they are married.

What is this sound? Frog? Bird?

They used to sit on the rail of my pool. I couldn't get any sleep, I used to shine a light on them and snatch them. I always took 'em to a swamp 1/4 mile away.

    Time to bend over again

We really need a way to keep their hands off dedicated money approved by voters. This is another: http://www.njspotlight.com/stories/15/05/06/clean-energy-fund-diversions-already-built-into-christie-s-budget-proposal/
