    ManuMutt!

That dog is really having fun! Yes, Buddy still takes off at 11 years old. He is used to the whistle and comes 9 times out of 10. The other nite he took off when I went down to let him use the outdoor facilities. I called and whistled to no avail...so I shut him out for the nite. In the morning...

    A Letter Request

From the article: "The reversal means that it and other banks will have to figure out new ways to recover revenue that is being lost from a host of new regulations on debit cards, credit cards and overdraft fees." How about lowering those executive salaries and stock perks?

Chiappine and Tassone in the Pine Barrens

Good story Patty..you certainly missed it. My grandfather was Victor Zaccardo, and I went to their house in Perth Amboy in the late 50's and early 60's for Sunday dinner. Wonderful food...always several dishes at once. I especially liked the roasted meats, chicken cattiatore, and lasagna.

    First Snow

Gibby, do you live in a condo or apartment? Being a homeowner is not fun in ice and snow. I have to say that it bothers me, yes. If it was just 2 to 4 inches and no ice, that's well enough for me.

Yeah, you really got a sense for a brief moment how isolated they were back then. It must have been so peaceful.

    Music for the day

A lot of effort went into that. Nice. I often think that we need a way to type out the words to a song in our conversations and the person reading it would instantly hear the music in their head that goes with it. For instance if I typed that "I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink" you would not...

    Music for the day

I have an album Van Morrison put out titled "Night in San Franciscon (Live) where Mr. Hooker was a guest artist. Very cool stuff. Regarding Van, if people stopped listening after "Brown-eyed Girl", they are really missing it. He is one of my top 10 favorite artists and his later music is much...

Andrew Rider & Charles Wilkinson Stone

Thanks Guy. That was such a small article in the original paper. It seemed they were just going to throw up their hands and say..."well, they made it into the woods, we'll never get 'em now".
