    Music for the day

My older son and I were reminiscing a month or so ago about watching MTV back when they actually played music videos. Both of my sons and I would watch these videos together when they were seven and six years old. Both boys still have eclectic tastes in music and thank God they both hate the...

    South shore of Atsion Lake

Hey, stay out of my spot ! :) You are dead on with your theory its just that you can't drive southeast of Salter's Ditch. That bridge has been out for years and I don't think it will ever be replaced. Here is the end of the line heading southeast on Raritan...

"Lure of the Tupehocken"...A PBX Hike

This was a very enjoyable PBX trip Ben. The mood was very relaxed, the weather was the best we could have had for late May and the country was beautiful. My wife is very glad she went along with Murph. We made some great memories along the way.

"Lure of the Tupehocken"...A PBX Hike

I was ready if we did. The carbide tipped hiking sticks that my son bought me seemed up to the task. Had all the fixin's for them, including my cast iron pot and peanut oil. http://www.cooks.com/recipe/ei70g2g0/southern-fried-rattlesnake.html

A better day could not have been had. The weather, the camaraderie and exquisitely cooked animals were stellar. My wife decided to go at the zero hour and she was glad she did. We brought the Murph along too and he hasn't stopped talking about the hike yet ! Thank you Bob for all of the effort...

    I figure ask the experts

I have lived 50' from the Wharton boundary for the past 30 years but have only camped in Wharton at a designated camping area twice. The first time was in 1976 at Goshen Pond and we drove into our site. The next time was in 1979 and we backpacked into Lower Forge from Batsto. That was the most...
