Have been hearing thunder here for awhile, but the rain just started about 5 minutes ago. Looks like it won't last too long. I was watching that huge storm make its way towards us all afternoon yesterday. Went to bed a bit early and it was almost here, with a tornado watch still in effect...

Have checked multiple times but the njdep rain website has been broken, with 0 rain showing for all locations. I won't give any more "wheelbarrow estimates" but we certainly had a lot of rain here over the last 24 hours and the forecast is calling for around one more inch on Friday through Saturday.

All over here, I ended up between the two warning areas! It rained steadily for awhile, but I've seen a lot worse. No wind at all, no thunder. Whole storm is moving out to sea, tornado warnings are over except for one in Southern Delaware.

I see! But I am literally right on the edge of the warning. There's another warning to the North now too...
