A new "Then & Now" photo

I was just curious if the land around there is private. I would have imagined using ATV's on public/protected land would be frowned upon. Never saw any posted signs along the trails up around there.

A new "Then & Now" photo

When I was back there last I was upset to see people using the field on the one side of the road as another road to avoid the few pot holes on the main road. But nice picture I love these types of images. Out of curiosity. Is there any history on the hunting cabin up Bryant Rd further. I...

Controlled burn planned Sunday in Egg Harbor Township

I personally didn't go up in the tower. We had a few gals with us that never been to the tower so they took the trek up. I did see the tower was manned. I didn't notice a vehicle parked there. While we were waiting a fella in a mini van did drive right up to the tower and took some pictures...

    Linear mounds in Stafford WMA

I have been back there once and I came in from Pancoast road >Micaja S Rd From my memory that route was fine for any vehicle. I left and took service road next to the parkway. On the way out there were a few mud holes that were a little hairy and I had to take a different line through. Just...

Apple Pie Hill Tower Smashed Again

I was at the tower on Saturday. Parked at the bottom of the hill and walked up. I was amazed how much less trash was there compared to last time I was there. There was still minimal normal trash of bottles, cans and food products but no TV's printers and refrigerators. The road from...

What's the statute of limitations on swiping cranberries in NJ?

I took my jeep back there one time. I had planned a route I thought looked manageable from the maps. I turn down one of the roads and it was a little tight. After that it got really tight. I had branches scraping paint and some even scratched my windows. The whole time I was out there I was...

Back from the dead with a question...Anyone camp/explore Delaware Water Gap NRA?

Hike up to the top of mount tammany it is right off route 80. It is a really good hike/workout. Depending on which trail you take it is almost mild rock climbing. I hiked it with my lab and gf last summer and it was awesome.

The bridge on Atison Basto Rd has been washed out and the road is closed, just a FYI

A few weeks ago it was passable the pipe was showing some wear and tear but it wasn't nearly as bad. We will see when and if they fix it.

The bridge on Atison Basto Rd has been washed out and the road is closed, just a FYI

Was out yesterday and the bridge / corrugated metal pipe is damaged and washed out. The Park Police have the area taped off and it is impassible. Just a heads up if you are traveling that way.

Did anyone hear what sounded like bombing on Saturday 2/26 (South Jersey)?

def not sonic booms I have heard them before and these were going on all day only a few minutes between blasts. Then you would hear a different type of blast I think were like carpet bombs. Would these be coming from the range by Penns Forrest?

We went there once and this old woman was walking away from the window with 4 mugs of the buttermilk and raved how good it was so we tried it. Quite an acquired taste.

Did anyone hear what sounded like bombing on Saturday 2/26 (South Jersey)?

I have to say I live in Toms River and from about 7am till 4pm we could hear the concussions from bombs or heavy gun fire throughout the day. The bombing was constant with only a few minutes between blasts. Wasn't sure if any one else could hear or feel the same thing and where it was coming from?

I love hot dog jonny's. I used to go there all the time when I lived up north, that was right down the street from me. Have you ever tried the buttermilk?
