You have to paddle across the lake and cross the road next to the dam. In my opinion the oswego river is the most peaceful and relaxing river in the pines. Don't forget to stop at Martha and the cranberry pumping station.

Does anyone have any information about the foundation on the top of moutain?Was there ever a fire tower up there?I also found two other foundations in the area.

Does anyone know the purpose of the circular foundation? Why was it round and why was it so deep.I heard a story that it was an underground weather station but I can't find any facts to suport that.

That location is correct.There is a second evergreen on 206 across from the post office and next to Haas sand & gravel.
