Very sad ... in my travels therough many of the WMA's there is garbage everywhere!

Been there and done that ... had a brand new 1987 Ford Ranger ... first weeke nd I had it buried it past both axels going to a fishing spot that I been to at least 1000 times before without getting stuck. Did you find any good hunting spots?

I know the feeling all to well. A few years back I just bought a new 4x4 and decided to go fishing. On my way to an out ot the way spot that I have been too countless times I landed up getting this truck stuck past the axels. Had to hike out and have a couple of local guys that I have seen...

I fish the Whites Bog area ... good days and bad days ... nothing really big. I also fish further south ... Oswego and Stafford Forge. Might want to try the lakes at Colliers Mills or Butterfly Bogs in Jackson. Good Luck!

Nice pics ... spent the day at Lake Osewgo and a small pond offof Beaver Damn Rd ... best was a pikerel almost 21" long (no fish tale) ... all caught on small white tube jigs.

Pines Plains Drive on Route 539 to the town of Warren Grove ... keep heading south on 539 ... turn onto to Range Road ... there are a few "high" locations where you can get out and take some great pictures.

While fishing last weekend I noticed a lot of kayakers on Oswego Lake (close by). Good Parking and Launch Area. Micks was transporting alot of people back and forth that day.

Shooting Ranges To use a shooting range on a NJ WMA you need to have valid NJ Hunting License. Double check the regs, would not want to see or hear of anyone having any trouble or problems.

Like Piney Mike I also fish Oswego and Colliers Mills. You may also want to try some of the bogs on route 70. It maybe out of your way but Prospertown Lake (by Great Adventure) maybe worth your while. Good Luck!

Deer Season will run to the end of January, Small Game will run into February. If you decide to venture out wear some blaze orange to be on the safe side. There is no hunting on Sundays in New Jersey.
