Might contact Kathy Clark, ENSP Wildlife Biologist. She and her department do the banding in NJ. If you can crop to get the color and numbers of the band would help.

Did you see in the paper someone cut down a tree with a eagles nest in the Elmer-Daretown area of Salem county. They said at least one egg was lost.

That one in Millville happened a five minute walk from my house.I think I remember hearing about that.That may have even been the nest of the eagle that killed a squirrel in my yard during the grand kids birthday party. Damn Lakers.Then again coulda been a Millbilly as well. Not a whole lotta difference.
