A lapse of judgement

I took off my knee high boots during lunch Saturday in the woods south of Chatsworth. I left them off to explore a patch of knee high vegetation. I am really paying for that now. I have over 40 bites around my waist and crotch.

Awful. When chiggered like this, it is hard to concentrate on much else. I just took a shower and dabbed calamine lotion on each one.

Definitely ranks within the top annoying 5 events I've had with chiggers. Be cautious out there.

The chigger issue can be solved with Off so you are just going to have to put it on every time.
