And I'm not going to bother you Dear Lord, for a Phillies win. They are big boys, and have control over that....if they don't win tonite, it's their own fault. Now the weather...that we have no control over.

Please jiggle the Earth much harder, and send us just one sunny day this weekend.

Indeed. That forecast next week when most of us are working is peaches and cream. I love the pines in October, but rarely get to enjoy it.

I'll settle for nothing else in my house breaking this week. My Home Decot card and my time is maxed out!

Speaking of that...how about that Bank of America fee? I'd dump them right away. Pretty soon they'll figure out how to charge you money for using greenbacks.

As I understand, the fee only applies to purchases made with a debit card. You really should think twice about using a debit card for purchases because you just don't have the protections that you have with a credit card. With a debit card, the money is immediately withdrawn from your bank account. With a credit card, your money is safe until you pay the bill, and you can place anything fraudulent into contest. With a debit card, you are probably covered for fraudulent purchases... but the money is already gone from your account and you need to persuade the bank to give it back.

I have several friends who have been bitten by this and it took them awhile to resolve it. In the meantime, they didn't have access to the money in their account. Get a credit card, pay the balance in full every month and stop using your debit cards. You could save yourself a lot of grief and you'll also be building a good credit history by paying off the card every month.
