A nice day in the pines.

Went searching for a witness post which I have been meaning to look for for a long time, and had quite a bit of trouble finding it since GPS reception in dense woods is really bad this time of year.

We walked along the wading river which was quite nice.

And we visited the clear cut area on the road from Apple Pie Hill to Speedwell.

I had plenty of ticks on me to show for it, and I am dreading on getting into my car later. They were all over it.

I must have pulled or flicked about 20 off me today. I just found another one on my back.

I am sure I'll be seeing them tomorrow and Monday as well.

I don't mind the ticks - it's the chiggers, gnats, and flies that really bother me.

Even with those awesome waders I had on I STILL was pulling off the dam baby ticks. I hate 60 degree and above weather.
