I guess that’s a good location for them because of the proximity to the Atlantic City Expressway and the Garden State Parkway, but I’m not looking forward to the additional traffic congestion when I go to BJ’s or the Hamilton Mall.

I love Starcade, the smoothie stand and the record store at Hamilton and am increasingly anxious that the mall is just gonna shutter any day. The last three years especially it's gotten more and more liminal space/dead.

I haven't been up around there since before covid. Used to go to the Hamilton Mall but it has been on the decline for a long time. I just disklike that whole area, too much development and traffic. From my home, I prefer going West to the Cumberland Mall / Union Lake Crossing. I can get in and out of there on the back roads with no problems.

Yeah, the Enterprise Zone with reduced sales tax was great but we discussed that before and when I looked it up, it said the program began in 1988 and was scheduled to expire in 2023. Did that not actually happen? Was just there a few days ago but didn't even look at the tax on the receipt.

I think Malls in general are in decline around the country because more people are shopping online. I can remember when there was a dozen places to eat at the Food Court at the Hamilton Mall. Now it looks like a ghost town.

That one is huge. The guy building it is one of the owners of the Showboat property/water park. That property has been vacant for a very long time. It will be nice to see it used for something other than parking.
