when you go to Lake Horicon in Lakehurst, and you take the pathway all the way down the lake, there is a burnt structure covered with graffiti. Does anyone know what kind of fire occurred there, and what that structure was used for, thanks. I always go here when walking my dog and always wondered what it was for.

Some of the surrounding area was farmland and one or two of the associated buildings are still standing. The aerials from 1956 show the building clearly.

Not certain about the fire . I'm there very often as well. It appears to be an abandoned blueberry farm. North of the structure , While overgrown , you can still clearly see the bushes in an organized formation .
The building still standing appears to be a 1 car garage .The garage is made of cinderblock .Due south there are the remains of what are clearly cement front steps to a dwelling . Hope this helps .
