Position Available: Director of Philanthropy
The Pinelands Preservation Alliance seeks a new Director of Philanthropy. The Alliance is located at a beautiful colonial farmstead in Southampton Township, 45 minutes from Philadelphia and Princeton. The Alliance is a non-profit organization devoted to preservation of the natural and cultural resources of the Pinelands, a region of 1.1 million acres covering most of southern New Jersey. The Alliance
currently has a staff of seven full-time and two part-time, and an annual budget of about $750,000.
The Director of Philanthropy will manage the organization's fundraising programs, with special emphasis on cultivating individual donors and membership, to support our many advocacy and education initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to exercise initiative and creativity
in managing a diversified development program, while getting to know a beautiful and globally unique ecosystem. The Director of Philanthropywill work closely with the Executive Director, Trustees, Membership Manager, Communications Director and other staff.
Salary will be competitive in light of experience, and the Alliance provides health, disability, retirement savings and other benefits.
