I decided on this title which translates to Burlington and Ocean Counties combined with two trips on Saturday combined with a reshoot of two pics on Sunday, plus some additional pics.
Saturday morning i got to Chatsworth Lake to take a pics of the lake, no battery in camera, so i decided to go back home, about a mile on the way home i had an incident which caused me to return home with a little more haste. 64 miles round trip on the odometer when i got back at the house.
A few hours later i started off to the pines again, and on Church Road i stopped here at Dr.Still's office, taking a pic of this sign next to the office.
Dr.Still's Office
Then off to the other Friendship with this pic.
The Friendship Buildings
Off then to rt.532 where i finally got my Chatsworth Lake pic.
Onto Savoy Blvd. for this pic. The sex plant, looked bare to me.
I arrived at rt.72 and decided to climb up the old JCRR bridge taking this pic, i recall on my trips to LBI in the 50's the trains passing by, my dad in his early years saw the Blue Comet on it's way to and from AC.
This is a pic of old rt. S 40, the old way to the coast, my dad use to travel on it.
I then went to Wells Mills County Park, talked with Cliff Oakley for a while, i was
suppose to meet German there also but because of my morning incident i did not arrive til 3:40, they close at 4:00., he left already for the day.
Then off to the Albert Brother's Home Site, this is one of two foundations that i seen there.
Back in the car again, taking this pic of the Old Ironsides Gun Club.
I then proceeded to take a pic of the Cedar Bridge fire tower ruin.
Then it was off to Cedar Bridge, taking a pic of this sign on Cedar Bridge Road.
This is a pic of another Cedar Bridge ruin fire tower site.
Now to the Bridge site.
Cedar Bridge Hotel And Tavern Pic amongst the trees.
I had to visit one more site i wanted to take a pic of, the Reevestown Cemetary, while getting out of the car a person called out my name, when in view it was Guy and his daughter Jessica. A pic of the cemetary
Guy and me chatted it up for a while then it was time for me to return home. what started out as a almost disastrous morning ended up being a great afternoon.
As i stated earlier i needed to do a reshoot of two pics from Saturday, being the ones of the Dr. Still and Friendship signs, i then went on a little journey into the pines, this is a pic of a marker i found.
A gun club in Wheatland or Pasadena.
Time to go home, on the way home, i took this last pic.
The moral of this two day combined outing is, don't leave your camera battery at home, shoot the sign pics right the first time, and don't get stung by a bee which i am allergic to.
