When we drove by this morning two workers were pulling up the pump.

Since the beginning of the week it had what seemed an orange bag hanging from it. It is not unusal for people to leave things there. Thursday morning campers were setting up and one was just staring at the pump, The next morning we were supprised to not see them there, so I guess it was broken since last weekend. It took 2 workers to lift the pump clear of the well, there was still black plastic pipe going down the well. That pump assembly is impressive.

I wish I did but I felt I would have been imposing on them. As it is we stopped and stared.

it broke when i was there Tues. 7 more miles for water at lower forge

i tied orange to it to maybe alert ranger. told Batsto Wed. morn.
