I found this myself recently. As mentioned in another thread, I find it interesting that the black bear is shown right next to a deer as wildlife you might see on the trail.

FWIW, my new map of NJ includes the Batona Trail as well and other selected trails. Taking me forever to finish this up, but it is coming soon...

Nice map Karl.
I see they still have a sizeable gap between campsites from Absegami to Crowleytown and even thats a sizeable trip off trail. Thats where the art of stealth camping comes in

This is a nice online map of the Batona fold-out. I've used this and the Batona topo many times when planning hikes.
